FRANKLYN MASTERPLAN

MULLUMBIMBY

This masterplan was created for a large property with scenic views on the outskirts of Mullumbimby township, situated on a site heavily infested with camphor laurel (weed tree species) and with a number of creek crossings feeding into a large farm dam. The client was interested in creating a beautiful water feature as well as undertaking significant regeneration works.

The design proposed creating a variety of spaces and clearings for potential developments connected with a network of tracks and walkways, as well as designating areas for reforestation, buffer planting along the roadside boundary and rehabilitation of the creek snaking through the property and feeding into the Brunswick River.

The plant and tree species selection proposed intended to increase the biodiversity across the site, generating repair and rehabilitation of the overall property while creating habitat for endangered native animals.
